Houston Psychotherapists, Inc., is a group of independent clinicians working together to offer a full range of psychological services to Cypress, Houston and the surrounding areas.  We work with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. 

As independent practitioners we bring a wide array of skills, experience, cultural diversity, and specialties to one collective space.  Services include:

We treat most Psychological Disorders, including but not limited to:  Depression, Anxiety, Eating, Obsessive Compulsive and Personality.

We also help healthy individuals through difficult periods of their lives.   

We are trained in a variety of specialties, techniques, and theoretical perspectives, which enables us to effectively address most mental health concerns.  Our goal is to offer a full range of psychological services with the highest standard of care. Our hope is to alleviate pain and suffering while increasing richness and meaning in life.

In addition to our fully licensed clinicians we employ several Licensed Professional Counselor Interns.  Interns have completed all educational requirements to be a Licensed Professional Counselor and have passed the National Counselor Exam.  All interns work under the careful supervision of an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor until they have completed 3,000 hours required to become fully licensed by the State of Texas.  There are benefits to seeing an LPC intern:

[  Because appointments with interns cannot be filed with insurance, no health information is shared with insurance providers

[  Some interns offer Saturday or late evening appointments.

 While we strive to meet the mental health care needs of every individual, there are times we may not be able to provide the best option to meet your needs.  If we can’t help you, it is likely we know someone who can.  We have cultivated an extensive network of fellow providers, inpatient, outpatient, and psychiatric services and will do everything in our power to get you the help you need.
